Internal Networks Setup Guide
Internal Networks allow Umbrella to manage traffic sent from computers on the subnets or internal IP addresses of your networks. You can associate an Internal Network with a Network, Site, or Network Tunnel identity.
An Internal Network identity defines a subnet that's non-routable (or RFC 1918 compliant). For example, if your Internal Network is defined as 192.168.0/24, Umbrella applies policies to the traffic received from any computer or device with an IP on that subnet.
Set Up Internal Networks
- For Internal Networks with DNS-layer security deployments, register a subnet for your Umbrella Virtual Appliances (VAs) through an Umbrella Site. For more information, see Provision a Subnet for Your Virtual Appliance and Manage Sites.
- Manage Internal Networks.
