Manage Static API Keys
The System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) defines a standard interchange of user identity information between IT systems. You can create SCIM API keys to integrate various identity providers with Umbrella. Umbrella Static API keys do not expire.
Create Static API Keys to integrate identity providers.
- Azure Active Directory Provisioning
- Okta Provisioning
- Other SCIM IdP
Authenticate requests to the Umbrella Identity API with your Umbrella Static API key.

Prerequisites
- You must have Full Admin access to create and manage Static API keys.
Generate Token
- Navigate to Admin > API Keys.
- Click Static Keys, and then expand a Static API key.
- Click Generate Token.
- Copy the URL for the Umbrella Identity API, https://api.umbrella.com/identity/v2/scim.
- Copy your token.
- Click For security reasons, ....
You must acknowledge that your key is only displayed once to close the key.
Refresh Token
- Navigate to Admin > API Keys.
- Click Static Keys.
- Expand a Static API key, and then click Refresh.
- Click Refresh to confirm the rotation of your credentials.
- Copy the URL for the Umbrella Identity API, https://api.umbrella.com/identity/v2/scim.
- Copy your token.
- Click For security reasons, ....
You must acknowledge that your key is only displayed once to close the key.
Delete Token
- Navigate to Admin > API Keys.
- Click Static Keys.
- Expand a Static API key, and then click Delete.
- Click Delete to confirm and remove your token.
