Automatic Updates

Historically, Cisco had provided Umbrella-managed auto updates for Cisco AnyConnect client. When enabled, AnyConnect Client and all its installed modules automatically get updated within 30 days of a release being posted to Cisco.com

Cisco has since decided to extend auto-update support from the Umbrella dashboard to include Secure Client as well starting with Secure Client 5.1.6.103 (MR6). Going forward, customers who have upgraded to at least Cisco Secure Client 5.1.6 MR6 will be able to auto update to newer versions if auto-update has been configured in the Umbrella dashboard.
