Google Workspace Identity Service

Google Workspace integration supplements Cisco Security for Chromebook client by providing Google Workspace user and organizational unit information for each applicable request.

Using the Google Admin console, you can manage your users and Chromebooks. A common practice is to create logical groups of users, for example, Staff and Students, and subgroups such as High School Students and Middle School Students, to apply different policies for internet access and content filtering.

If you integrate the Google Workspace Identity Service with Umbrella, Google Workspace organizational units and users are added to the Umbrella policy. For more information, see Integrate Google Workspace Identities with Umbrella.
