Manage API Keys

You can create and manage various types of API key in Umbrella. Use your API key credentials to authenticate requests to the Umbrella API, the legacy Umbrella API, the Umbrella KeyAdmin API, and the Umbrella Identity Provider API.

  • Umbrella API Key— intent-based API key with configurable key name, expiration date, and key access scopes. For more information, see Add Umbrella API Keys.
  • Umbrella Legacy API Key—multi-resource API key with no expiration date. For more information, see Add Umbrella Legacy API Keys.
  • Umbrella KeyAdmin API Key— intent-based API key with configurable key name, expiration date, and key permissions. For more information, see Add KeyAdmin API Keys.
  • Umbrella Static API Key— identity provider (SCIM) API key with no expiration date. For more information, see Add Static API Keys.
